For the first ever Japanese colab release of Highwayman Dan dedicated this to his years of work with Suntory by making a lightly peated whisky with hints of Mizunara-esque flavours! This is done by using 2 different spirits and 4 types of wood! Firstly peated spirit was aged in first fill fino sherry and then given a second maturation in 2nd fill Apera. This whisky was then married with unpeated spirit aged in a 2nd fill bourbon barrel with virgin American oak casks. This whisky is a colab release with whisky blogger Armando Cornejo Sandoval and whisky bar Aloha in Tokyo and is being released in both Japan and Australia. It’s unfiltered and bottled at cask strength of 55%. A truly unique release from the Highwayman stable.
