Highwayman will always be intrinsically linked to Laphroaig due to Dans relationship with the distillery, having represented the whisky for nearly 6 years on a national and global stage and still being his favourite all time distillery. Dan had the opportunity to get his hands dirty there in all facets of production many times over many years and still voices this as being one of the main driving components to setting up his own whisky brand. Massive shout out to John Campbell for all his help and years of friendship. His encouraging and positive mentoring have definitely helped to make Highwayman the success it is today. This batch sees peated Highwayman spirit aged full term in a single Laphroaig quarter cask for 4 years and was bottled unfiltered at a cask strength of 55% yielding 150 bottles. This was bottled especially for Whisky Abbey 2025 and will disappear very quickly!
