An ode to Islay is aptly named for the love affair Dan has had for over 20 years. Since before his first visit to the ‘promised land’ Dans had a healthy obsession with Islay and all its whisky but mostly with Laphroaig. Giving huge thanks and respect to John Campbell for his friendship and guidance over the years this batch sees a peated Highwayman spirit aged in a first fill Laphroaig quarter cask to give the best of both worlds in perfect balance. Laphroaig and Highwayman, a perfect marriage of everything the world needs right now…. As always unfiltered and undiluted producing 140 bottles at a cask strength of 55%. Byron Bay and Islay perfection!

Dan Woolley.
