Highwayman Peated spirit was filled into a French oak 100L PX cask for 2 and a half years then transferred for a finishing into a Lord Byron rum cask that was originally a 200L Heaven Hill Rye whiskey barrel. This is the first time Highwayman whisky has used a Lord Byron rum cask for maturation so it’s a very special release bottled at a cask strength of 55% and only 50 bottles available.
